Big Dynamo Game on April 18th

As luck would have it, the FC York Dynamo (Ben Kettlewell's U-12 team) are playing their NCS State Cup quarter final at Rudy Park at 3:30, right after our game there. They face Lehigh Valley United, who are currently ranked #2 in the nation.

This is big! Let's all stick around to cheer on the Dynamo!

A good weekend

Personally, I thought the boys played their two best games yet this weekend (especially Saturday). With a little more luck/composure in front of goal, they could have won both games handily.

It was great to see some accurate passing, intelligent dribbling and a willingness to attack, as well as some calm and effective defending. The boys have worked hard and learned a lot since last summer, and it is starting to show in game play.

The best of luck to everyone at the tryouts!

As you know FC York has not coordinated any team photos. They decided to let each team make that decision. For parents who are interested in purchasing photos of your son and the team, I am working on scheduling a photographer to come to one of our practices in the next couple of weeks.

Chelsea vs AC Milan at Ravens Stadium July 24th

Lampard, Terry, Drogba, Ballack, Ronaldinho, Kaka...

Chelsea will play an exhibition game at Ravens Stadium on Friday July 24th at 8.00pm. Tickets from www.worldfootballchallenge.com or from Ticketmaster. A great opportunity to watch top class players in action, despite being a non-competitive match. There is no guarantee that your favorite players will be on the pitch, but even if they play their third string guys, they will be among the best in the world...

Thomas and I both dislike Chelsea with a passion, but we'll probably still go...

It's time to resurrect the website. I have updated the calendar with the LANCO league games as well as the EPYSA Challenge Cup (state cup) games, and have also added training and tryout dates.

If you click on an item in the calendar, and then on the "more details" link, a map of the location will pop up. Directions will appear in the comments section below the map.

If anyone is interested in contributing to the website, please let me know so that I can give you access.

The games are now posted on the calendar - click on the event to open it up. But beware - the "map" link doesn't often work. Instead, please copy the URL in the description field to your browser to find directions.
